Argumentative essays tend to be descriptive in nature and are made to support or oppose a specific argument. They’re also written with higher accuracy than their formal thesis statement. Unlike a thesis statement, an argumentative composition relies on reasoning and facts to support their own position. Students should always treat their arguments as though they were introduced in a debate, using good grammar, style, and proper citation. If they don’t do such things, they may discover that their disagreements are wrongly construed with their viewers and the accuracy of their disagreements will probably be called in to question.
A descriptive essay, on the other hand, is composed to discuss information in a generalized way about a subject, idea, or topic. Like an essay, the objective of a descriptive article is to present a summary or »narrative » of something.
